GRACE EPISCOPAL CATHEDRAL + TOPEKA, KANSAS
|
The growing number of young Choristers who regularly sing at Sunday
morning services are gaining a reputation outside our congregation, having
shared their talents with other churches, including the National Cathedral in
Washington, D.C. as well as Cathedrals in St. Louis and Omaha.
If you love to sing, this is the place for you! Choristers have spots for
students 4th grade and older. Practices are Wednesdays from 5:30 pm - 6:
45 pm.
Cathedral membership is not required and newcomers are always welcome.
No singing or music experience is needed — just a desire to have fun and to
be involved with their church friends. Besides normal choir activities,
frequent social activities such as bowling, ice cream and pizza parties.
The choristers' annual trips enable
them to share their talent at other
churches, alternating between local,
regional, and national sites. While
there, the group takes in local
attractions and always has a great time
“on the road!”

Director, Steve Burk.
