Travel through seven of the Gates of Jerusalem to explore this
unique and timeless city.  Experience the sights, sounds, and
even smells of Jerusalem through fun activities, archaeological
finds, poetry music and games.

The Gates were designed and painted by professional theatrical
set designers and are faithful scale model representations of
the actual entrances to the Old City of Jerusalem.  Each Gate
fronts an exhibit with a specific theme about Jerusalem and
accompanying activities.
Lion's Gate: An Archaeological View of Jerusalem
Learn about the building and rebuilding of Jerusalem over 3,000 years
through archaeological digs and artifacts.  Activities within the Gate include
making an artifact rubbing.  See the Activities page about making a mosaic.

Jaffa Gate:  The Old City of Jerusalem
Take the map challenge, play with puzzles, climb the ramparts, and other
activities to discover places and facts about Jerusalem.
Herod's Gate:  Jerusalem through Art
This Gate was named for King Herod, the great builder of
Jerusalem and restorer of the Second Temple. View
copies of artists visual interpretations of Jerusalem from
different time periods.  
Zion Gate:  Jerusalem through Literature
Learn about Jerusalem through quotes, poety, and short
literary pieces about Jerusalem.  Play the "Jerusalem in
Literature" game and try your hand at creative writing
about Jerusalem.  Follow a time line of the Old City
through the ages.
