Each year, Cathedral Church School children and many adults fill Lenten boxes
with money saved by “giving up” something for Lent. Money collected in our
Lenten boxes this year will go to help the people of Kenya who have been hit
hard by recent violence there.
This offering is part of the “Kansas to Kenya” ministry that was initiated by
Bishop Wolfe last summer after he and 19 other Kansas Episcopalians
(including Cathedralites William Wolfe and Claudia McKinsey) went on a
