| LOCK-IN AT ST. DAVID'S Saturday-Sunday, July 18-19: Overnight Lock-in at St. Davids, 17th & Gage. From 5 pm Saturday through 8:45 am Sunday. St. David's youth group is planning an overnight that includes worship, activities, a movie and discussion, and more. Stay tuned for further details! MISSIONPALOOZA July 22-27: urban mission work at social service sites in Kansas City. Stay at St. Paul's Episcopal Church in KC, Missouri and work at one of 15 sites during the day. Evening activities are planned. Check out the Diocesan youth website for additional information and registration materials. Ask Kathy or Michael about scholarships. HAPPENING #81 Weekend of August 1-3: Senior High retreat at St. John's Episcopal Church in Wichita. Begins Friday at 6 pm and runs through Sunday at 4:00 pm. BACK-TO SCHOOL PICNIC AT LAKE WABAUNSEE Sunday, August 30th: Ron and Suzanne DeWeese have invited us to their lakefront home on Lake Wabaunsee for a picnic and paddle boat rides. Those who went on the pilgrimage last summer will remember Ron and Suzanne, who met us in Canterbury and generously treated us to a traditional British dinner at a local restaurant. Don't miss this afternoon of fun and food! Their home is about forty minutes west of Topeka. |
